Damon is a system of orthodontic treatment that uses self-ligating brackets and high-tech wires to correct the position of the teeth. Unlike traditional braces these special brackets have a 'trap door' design, where the wire is clipped into place and is able to glide freely underneath. These special brackets eliminate the need for elastics and metal ties that would typically keep the wire in place which create friction and pressure, causing limits to teeth movement and can be less comfortable for the patient.
The Damon system allows orthodontists to move teeth quicker and in fewer less frequent visits. Offering Damon Ultima and Damon Clear, you can choose between metal or ceramic brackets.
